The owner's tools

Eleven owner's tools — and for each one, four depths

Not motivation and not management theory. Tables, thresholds and playbooks that you fill in with your own numbers and switch on this week.

  • You'll work out whether the business earns — and on what exactly
  • You'll see a cash gap a month before it arrives
  • You'll hand part of your week to your people so the tasks don't come back
  • You'll have a plan for the case where revenue drops by a third

44 lessons · a worksheet and homework in each one · 365 days of access. Entry for €1 is the basic level of all eleven tools, not a demo.

Sound familiar?

How it is now
  • There's revenue, but no money in the account — and it's unclear where it went
  • You know the profit “for the business as a whole”, but not which product feeds you and which one eats you
  • The cash gap becomes news on the day the bill has to be paid
  • You handed a task over — it came back a week later, and doing it yourself would have been faster
  • The week disappears into approvals: every decision goes through you
  • You haven't raised prices in two years, because losing the customer base is frightening
  • When revenue falls, the plan is born at night and on emotion
How it will be
  • Unit economics on one page: you can see which product feeds you and which one eats you
  • An 8-week cash table — the gap is visible in advance, not after the fact
  • A dashboard of seven numbers that you go through every Monday in five minutes
  • A delegation matrix: what to hand over, what to automate, what to throw out
  • A meeting rhythm after which decisions get made without you
  • A price review twice a year by calculation, not by mood
  • A crisis sheet with a trigger and three spending envelopes — before the crisis, not during it

Who this is for

The owner with a team of 5–50 people

You no longer do everything by hand, but there's no system yet either: decisions go through you, and the week disappears into approvals.

11
tools

Anyone running the business on gut feeling

The numbers exist somewhere — with the accountant, in a spreadsheet, in your head. Nobody sees them together, and every decision is made blind.

7
numbers in the owner's dashboard

Anyone who has already tried to get things in order

You wrote the playbooks, set up the board, and a month later it all faded out. Here every tool has a rhythm and someone who runs it — without that, it fades out too.

Four depths for every tool

1

Basic — calculate it once

Every term is explained, the arithmetic goes step by step. You take your own numbers and bring the tool to a working result in one evening. Eleven lessons like this — one per tool.

2

Intermediate — make it repeatable

A playbook, a rhythm, who runs it and what to do when it breaks. The tool stops depending on whether you got around to it this month.

3

Advanced — hold it under load

Where the tool is systematically wrong, how it behaves on dirty and late data, what to do when it contradicts the tool next to it, and who decides when it says nothing.

4

The capital owner's level

Return on what's invested, the capacity and the limit of each tool, the price of a delayed decision in money, and what a buyer of the business or a bank sees in this same place.

Навички

What you'll be able to do

Calculate unit economics

Price, variable costs, margin, break-even point — for every item, not “for the business as a whole”.

Know seven numbers every Monday

A one-page dashboard with a “where it came from” column, so that the numbers aren't taken out of thin air.

See cash eight weeks ahead

The gap becomes visible a month before it arrives, while there's still something to answer it with.

Hand work over so it doesn't come back

A delegation matrix, a one-page standard, a control point and levels of autonomy.

Hire by scorecard, not by impression

Scoring with a margin of error on the score, a gray zone and a rule for who decides when the card says nothing.

Raise prices by calculation

A corridor by segment, two reviews a year, churn scenarios and a rollback rule.

Hold a quarter that survives to June

Three priorities instead of thirty tasks, team capacity in hours and the sixth week.

Have a plan for a drop in revenue

A trigger set outside the process, three spending envelopes, roles by name and a rehearsal once a year.

Бонуси

What stays with you after the course

A worksheet in every lesson. You fill it in with your own numbers — and after that it works without the course and without us.

📄 Unit economics on one page

A table that shows which product feeds you and which one eats you — for every item separately.

  • Everything from “System”
  • The capital owner's level: return on what's invested and the price of a delayed decision
  • The capacity and the limit of each tool — where it stops working
  • How a buyer of the business and a bank look at these same numbers
  • 365 days of access
Take everything

One payment, 365 days of access. The worksheets stay with you after that too — you filled them in with your own data. You can move to a higher tier at any time: a payment never narrows what's already open.

Honest about the limits

We don't promise sums, growth percentages or “a result in 30 days” — that would be untrue, and an untruth at the start costs more than any discount. The course gives you accounting and management tools and the order in which to put them in place. How well they work depends on your numbers and your actions.

  • The material is educational and is not financial or investment advice
  • Check tax and legal questions with your accountant and your lawyer
  • All the numbers in the examples are illustrative, for scale; you do the math on your own
  • Access opens immediately after payment and lasts 365 days

Objections worth saying out loud

Why one euro? What's the catch?
There's no catch, but there's no “whole course for a euro” either, and it's more honest to say that straight out. For €1 you get the basic level of all eleven tools: eleven lessons, each with a worksheet and homework. That's full work, not an intro. The deeper levels are separate tiers. We give the first level away for almost nothing because we're convinced that anyone who has calculated their own unit economics comes back on their own.
Why four levels? Is this a way to sell the same thing four times?
No: the levels answer different questions. Basic — “work this out for me once”. Intermediate — “make it repeat without me”. Advanced — “where does this model go systematically wrong and who decides when it says nothing”. The capital owner's level — “how much does an invested euro return and where is the limit of this tool”. An owner with a team of five doesn't need the fourth level yet, and selling it to them would be dishonest.
I already bought the whole kit earlier. Will I be moved down to a lower tier?
No. Anyone who bought before the tiers appeared sees the course in full — that is checked by an automatic watchdog on every release, not promised in words. In the same way, a payment never narrows what's already open: if someone with full access presses “Start for €1”, they lose nothing.
If I buy a lower tier, will I have to pay for the higher one in full?
You can move to a higher tier at any time, and everything from the lower one stays open. The question of paying the difference is settled by support: write to us before you buy so there are no surprises.
I have a micro business, I work alone. Isn't this too much for me?
Half of the tools work for one person too: unit economics, cash for eight weeks, prices, the personal operating system, control points. The ones about the team — delegation, hiring, the meeting rhythm — will be needed when the first hired person appears, and it's better if they're already sitting there ready.
I don't have any bookkeeping. Will I have anything to calculate from?
Yes. The basic level is built from what any business has: a bank statement, prices, approximate costs. Several lessons show directly how to derive the limits when there's no history yet: for eight weeks you write down the number as it is, throw out the highest and the lowest, and the rest gives you a corridor.
How much time will this take?
One lesson is one evening, and at the end you have a filled-in worksheet, not notes. Eleven basic lessons take about two or three weeks at a calm pace. Access is 365 days: enough to go through it twice, and the second time is always more useful than the first.
Is it video or text?
Text with tables, diagrams and worksheets. Text can be reread from the middle, you can copy a formula out of it and come back to the paragraph you need six months later — video doesn't work that way. Homework in every lesson.
How is this different from free articles and videos?
An article explains an idea. Here you get an order of actions and a sheet where you write in your own numbers, plus rules for what to do when the tool gives a strange result. The longest part of the course is precisely about limits and failure modes, and nobody writes those up in articles.
And if it doesn't work out? Will you give the money back?
That's exactly why entry costs one euro: you can look before the big payment for almost nothing, and that's more honest than a refund promise whose terms nobody reads. The refund terms for the paid tiers are in the public offer; disputed cases we sort out through support.
Who wrote this and why should I believe him?
Ihor Nikolenko, founder of DigitTime and the Evolve.Place Academy. Every tool in the course first worked in his own companies, and only after that became a lesson. We don't cite other people's cases and we don't promise your results — you'll be testing the tool on your own numbers.
Are the numbers in the examples real?
They're illustrative and consistent with each other — they show the scale and the order of the calculation. The real numbers in these tools are yours, and that's exactly why every lesson has a sheet rather than a ready answer.
Will the course be updated?
Yes, and updates are included in your access for its whole term. Over the last month the course has grown from 27 lessons to 44 — precisely because of the deeper levels.
I only need one tool. Can I buy it separately?
Yes: four tools are sold separately for €9–19, and in that case the module opens to its full depth, all four levels. That's the second axis of the same matrix: you pay either for one tool in full, or for one depth across all eleven.

All the tools in this course first worked in my own companies, and only after that became lessons. That's why there are no beautiful diagrams here that don't survive Monday: there are tables, thresholds and playbooks that I filled in with my own numbers myself — and that I had to rewrite when they stopped working at a different size of business.

Start with one number

The first lesson isn't theory: you take your own numbers and in one evening you get an honest answer to whether the business earns. After that — ten more tools of the same level, and you can go deeper when you want to.

Access immediately after payment. 365 days.
